Inflation of many things (college, housing, vehicles, etc.) has outpaced earning potential when comparing boomers to later generations which leads to a lot of butthurt
I don’t really give a frick because I’m a cheapskate like my boomer parents

People say this all the time and I ask what exactly they did to piss off millenials. I never get a straight answer. But I will keep asking, hoping that someday, maybe it will be explained.
From what I can tell, it's "they worked their asses off their whole life and made better lives for themselves and their children, and now they have nice houses and money and I'm a young entitled snot nosed brat and I am jealous that I don't have all those nice things".
Agree completely and I am not a boomer!

Please suggest a playlist of artists from the 2000 to 2020 that have musicality and message brought together well.

Same
My wife and I make pretty decent money, but the other day I found myself on my phone calculator figuring out which paper plates at Costco were cheaper per plate because I considered them about comparable quality

I love the music from the 60’s and 70’s and 80’s. But what used to be music to me turned into trash so I went to the country route. 90’s country was pretty good.

Careful there Aggy, you're buying vinyl which makes you a lot closer to an Austin hippie than you'd probably like.
It's glorious that you're whining about tech on an Internet forum.

You live in South Texas, so that probably means Tejano and Willie Nelson. I'm not your Spotify, you do it. You can hunt deer to anything.
Johnny Cash (or his estate) released 13 albums between 2000 and the end of 2020 (6 were traditional albums, not live releases). But yeah, I guess there's nothing out there.

Johnny Cash legacy was built much earlier then when he died in 2003. Great artist.

I'm not talking about his legacy, I'm talking about what he released in the time period. Including covers of Nine Inch Nails. Would he have covered songs which had no musical value? /rhetorical question

90% of the music that I listen to is from the 80s/90s. The rest of it mostly older than that. I don't really listen to hardly anything made in the past 20 years.
I don't listen to much new stuff, but 99.9999% of what I listen to is 70s.
Spotify told me last week that I am in the top 2% of listeners globally of the 70s Road Trip station.

My 8 track player in my 1969 Chevelle SS 396 played Grand Funk Railroad all day long.
Sadly, the tape got caught inside and had to cut it...

I enjoy Sirius radio for like 4 channels. I can't make myself get rid of it because it's almost all I listen to.
Lithium, Prime Country, 80s on 8 and CNBC (stock market talk) are about all I ever have on in my truck.
