I guess it was the time travel aspect, mixed with historical fiction.

i like books like that too. My favorite is the outlander series (now on starz). It's kinda girly but it's got a lot of war and guts too. Scotland 1770s and England 1940s
I'll try and think of some more

Oh the wizard books! They are hysterical. Damn what's the name. Guy goes back in time with modern technology and becomes a wizard.

Sheep - The Lost City of Z is a great read. I really enjoyed it, crazy stuff.

I've read of lot of their books and most of their solo work as well.

Most will recognize Relic since it was made into a movie.

I'm reading the Mitch Rapp series. I'm on Memorial Day. I like any suspense books.
