I just finished The Martian not too long ago. A pretty funny and entertaining read considering the usual bore that comes with a 'castaway' type drawn out scenerio.

I think that's my next read.

Unless I find another silly cheesy horse book.

I just started Paper Towns, by John Green. So far is is pretty good.

I finished two books by Lisa Scottoline: Everywhere That Mary Went and Every Fifteen Minutes. Every Fifteen Minutes was excellent and I really got into the way the main character's life spiraled out of control. The ending is a bit out of left field, but I didn't mind.

Nemesis Games

Awesome series (The Expanse). Syfy is turning it into a series, hopefully they don't screw it up.

Wise Blood by Flannery O'Connor.
It's her first, so it's a bit challenging to get into just yet. About 20% in, so far.

i enjoy Thor a lot. One of my favorite things is that he touches often on real societal/political things happening today, puts the story a few years in the future, and involve a lot of history. His last few books have dealt a lot with the Quaran, NSA, the Fed, and our debt to China.

I'd recommend Vince Flynn as well.

11-22-63. Should finish it tonight. Damn good book, much different than what I usually read.

Read that a couple summers ago. That shite is amazing and so worth the time. I remember it was really long though, but still worth it nonetheless.

The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon. It's interesting. Pynchon has some really good, vivid use of language. Pretty strange though.

Read those first, the OT turned me on to Thor when I finished those, both solid series if that is your taste.

Einstein's Secret reminded me quite a bit of this book, but much shorter.
