Actually, it's probably ellishughtiger. He hates when people talk poorly of NOLA because he says he never feels unsafe on his block.

Were I to achieve my lifelong goal of being installed an Emperor of America, one of my first decrees would be to make it legal to use deadly force on anyone attempting to steal your property.

You missed the thread, where Draconian Sanctions was defending Nola and got absolutely destroyed

“Every major city has seen an increase in crime, New Orleans is no different. People need to stop being so scared” - Draconian Sanctions

The criminal justice system can not continually fail in catching and prosecuting criminals, but then start prosecuting citizens that protect their own life and property.

I never really paid attention to the lyrics of that song. He hits the nail on the head.

Link to the statute?

The statute that says you feared for your life because someone had possibly stolen a loaded firearm?

Theft is pretty easy thing to deter. The 14 year old should have his hand cut off. It would be a whole lot more productive for the kid and society than floating through juvi for a few years.

There is not a lot I’ll tip my cap to the Arabs on, but people don’t steal in the Middle East.

Like it or not, it is NOT legal to shoot someone breaking into your vehicle unless you are IN the vehicle.

All the shooter has to say is he feared for his life as both kids had guns pointed at him. Both kids were armed so the likelihood car owner was threatened are very high. Lots of incidents with car jackers shooting victims. NOPD over reaching with charges on car owner.

TLDR: A 14 y/o who was in the process of stealing a car with 2 loaded weapons and the owner shoots him. The hoodrat crashes the victims car and the shooter was thrown in jail. Granted the shooter is no angel either but the justice system needs gutting but not for the reasons progressives think it needs to be gutted.

I don’t understand why anyone that can move out of that shithole of a city still decide to live there, or any other major city in this country. The people that actually pay the bills get shafted on a daily basis but the leaches on society can commit crimes and are out the next day.

You are damn right it should be! If thieves and other would be criminals were met with the threat of death at every turn they may think long and hard about those actions

I believe the obstruction charge comes from him hiding the gun. Cops shouldn’t have to actually search for evidence, you should just hand everything over to make their job easier.

Seems like they could have found a few more charges to put on the punks.

The criminals parents should be held liable for his damage. For his body and the damage done to the vehicle he stole while he had loaded guns.
