You can't scare liberal white women with "same weather phenomena we've recorded for hundreds of years".

I was in California last week and they were talking about the "atmospheric river" that was expected to show up this week on every weather segment of the local news. Some were acting like it was the storm of the century knocking on their door when it's just a little more rain that usual.

I've heard this term for years now. I'm not even a weather enthusiast unless it is directly affecting my area.

It wasn’t that long ago that they were crying about a multi year drought, right?

We open back up on Friday. This weekend should be legendary. The mountain will be crowded but employees get priority loading.

Strange how nothing like this happened when we had a president that was working on climate change

Atmospheric river. Cat 5 at landfall for a Cat 3 storm. Bomb cyclone. These are terms used to scare people and make them watch the Weather Channel.

I was in Seattle this week when it hit. One of my clients complained because some of his coworkers stayed home from work because they were without electricity, rather than going to an office where there is power. Other complained that they lost electricity for 4 or 5 hours. Winds got “all the way up to” 60 mph in areas.

I do understand a couple people died which is awful, but overall, they treated it like it was the next Cat 4 hurricane.
