You're 100% wrong. There are lots of evenings when that place is completely packed, especially when they have live music. The cars will completely fill up not only their own parking spaces but also the CVS parking lot next door.
this is how it is tonight and most Friday and Saturdays - I live around the corner so I see and hear a lot of it.

I think Royal hookah hurt Quarters’ business - and if any one needs weave we have several shops … I’ve been in this area since 2005, and in the past 5 years it has gone downhill quickly

ETA: I forgot the abundance of vape shops as well

Honestly I can’t believe it’s still open. I figured that would be the death knell.

The Coursey and Sherwood intersection has been an overlooked shithole for about 15 years now. There's more than enough shitty apartments in that area to keep Boil & Roux open.

It was good news when quarters closed but boil and roux is still hanging around. They seem to only really be packed on weekend nights. I don't know if it's sustainable long term. The hookah lounge down Sherwood is another weekend hot spot.

Definitely get to hear the chargers reving it up going up an down coursey and Sherwood on those nights.

Won't be long before we have a shooting at one of these spots

There’s been multiple deadly shootings at that ratchet hoodrat apartment complex on Coursey, by Stumberg.

Lived in Edgewood in '89 (fuuuck) and Sherwood Acres briefly right before that. They both kinda look the same except Edgewood was nicer. The ditches on Stumberg were deadly, the only thing we worried about.

Is that Spanky's still there? Used to go there regularly, been years though. I'm sure the clientele has changed since I used to hangout there.

Edgewood is like UClub compared to Sherwood Acres. I’d rather live in eastern Ukraine over Sherwood Acres.

Ironically enough I ate hundreds of Plantation Salads at that place when it was Calendars.

I ordered quite a few Gin and Tonics there when it was a Calendars and the drinking age was 18.

White people don’t have to try…. The kinds of people those businesses cater to tend to do it for them.
