And, yes, that is a black-owned restaurant that largely caters to a black clientele. I've lived in that general area since 2000. It used to be a mostly white area, but it is quickly changing.

Not saying it wasn’t a factor but CVS closed a lot of its locations around town at that same time. They closed something like 900 locations. It sucks because now we have overgrown empty stores all around town that will likely never sell in todays climate

I don’t know if this is the case but there are places called ghost kitchens. It’s basically a virtual restaurant that only does delivery or catering
