After the shooting, an 18-year-old woman who was still inside the car was ordered out and detained. She was apparently uninjured.

How the hell does that happen?

The odds of getting shot when someone isn't aiming at you are pretty low even if you are in the vicinity of the target. Cops likely have better than average aim as well.

Not really serious.

But what was the point of the bean bag round?

That young angel was simply firing a warning shot because the presence of the police were triggering his PTSD from being a person of color in AmeriKKKa. If the cops would've fired a warning shot as well, this young man would've been able to continue his mentoring of at risk youth as well as volunteering in local nursing homes.

99 shots , 25 hits. no idea what "average" would be.

I've never been to San Francisco, but I'm pretty sure I hate the frick out of that city.

The petty crime in that city is astronomical

To make him surrender without using deadly force. That's them trying deescalate the situation. But nooo, dude said he'll with that and fired back at the police.

Let me tell you something, if someone shoots me with a bean bag round because I'm not following orders...right after I get hit with that round, I'm immediately following all commands. Even the command of pull your pants down and grab your ankles, cause frick, that shite hurts.

Assuming she was sitting in the passenger seat, she was directly behind him. Seems odd that at least one stray didnt hit her.

They were trying to deescalate the situation.

Guess it didn't work.

Why does it matter if it was one bullet or 99? The end result is still the same

If someone shot at me I would empty my clip too

What do these people expect you to do?... fire one shot and then stop to see if the other guy is still firing? This is a situation where every second matters

Dark, from a distance, and body inside trunk and partially blocked by the car probably explains that number.

The dude shot at the police so what do they expect?
where does it say he shot at police?

Also the gunshot came after they fired at him first

quote:

According to police, an officer fired a beanbag round at Delgado-Duarte, and then Delgado-Duarte fired a gun from inside the trunk. That’s when officers fired their weapons, killing him.

Go to the link in the OP and watch the video. Around 0:40 to be exact. At least try and educate yourself with the information available to you before debating.

It says he fired a gun and in the video it looks like a blind shot, after they fired at him.

In the end it doesn't matter same story different day police will not be held accountable.
