The news clip I watched said the perp fired two shots. I don't give a fck if he didn't aim at the police. Also who gives a shite if the cops fired a warning shot first? The dude just committed an armed robbery!

My reply is in general, I'm not directly replying to you.

It says that in the video. Actually uses the word "officers" instead of police though so maybe that has you confused?

The video shows him aiming and pointing his gun directly at the police vehicle behind the car. You are losing credibility with every post.

Illegal shoots and kills innocent woman, walks, and everyone is happy. Cops shoot a guy who shot at them and it's an outrage.

Only in that shithole of a city.

In the end it doesn't matter same story different day police will not be held accountable.

I'm curious how you would suggest to hold someone accountable for firing a gun at the police, regardless of whether they are blindly shooting or aiming specifically at the police. How do you think that person should be held accountable?
How should the police respond to someone firing a gun at them, whether blindly or aiming? Should the police wait for that person to empty all of his rounds? Perhaps allow them to blindly shoot rounds into nearby residences? I mean he wasn't "aiming" at the police, he was just blindly firing his gun in the vicinity of a dozen police officers.

The dude shot at the police so what do they expect?

where does it say he shot at police?

Also the gunshot came after they fired at him first

According to police, an officer fired a beanbag round at Delgado-Duarte, and then Delgado-Duarte fired a gun from inside the trunk. That’s when officers fired their weapons, killing him.

Are you seriously taking the side of the guy that shot at police officers?

I’m 100% on the side of police officers here. My question is was the bean bag round a good call. Most folks agree that in these situations you shoot to kill so what good does a bean bag round do.

What if the perps shot had connected with an officer?

So people like to bitch that cops should try nonlethal force before shooting someone. And they do. And then people question if the beanbag was a good option??

Then, on top of that, this dude literally fires his real gun (aka, not a beanbag one) at officers, and then gets shot...and people are still questioning it?

Never change, OT. Never change...

This dude was armed and in a trunk. I assume SJWs think the officers should have disarmed and then approached the car in a nice manner and apprehended him?

And the people crying and screaming at that town meeting are despicable. They are upset about 99 shots fired? That came from TEN cops. Ten. So on average, each one fired less than ten shots. And the hole thing lasted maybe five seconds. It's not like they sat there for ten minutes shooting at this kid. They were met with deadly force and responded in kind. Yet people are still questioning the cops. it's amazing. I'm generally a supporter of police, but there are times when the cops are over the line and act stupidly. This is not one of those times. In fact, this is the exact opposite and was handled exactly how it should have been handled if you can view it from an unbiased opinion.

Nah. Should've been just the 25. I'm appalled at the 74 wastes of taxpayer funds.

Obey a lawful order and have your day in court.

But 10 cops and 99 rounds isn't ridiculous in response to 1 shot. That means none of them reloaded, emptied into the perp and scored 25% accuracy in a live action.

That's impressive.

This idiot (probably an illegal) popped out of the trunk and took multiple shots at 10 cops. What was supposed to happen?
