At noon out time, it's sundown in Galilee. Which makes it Monday.

To be honest, I don’t make it a point to frequent bars on an early Sunday morning so, the question remains, what does it have to do with lowered expectations?

Finished up at the grocery store about 30 minutes ago (1130 EDT). We can buy wine in the grocery store anytime, but cannot buy beer before noon on Sunday.

Move to New Orleans and buy you liquor anytime. We even have drive-thru Daiquiri shops.

It makes no sense at all especially if the laws are different in adjoining counties/parishes.

I was at walk-one in west Monroe last year during football season. You can’t order alcohol until noon on Sunday. The place is packed and when the bartenders get done making all the drink orders, it’s 15 minutes after 12. This was only beer, because the Bible Belt Baptist in west Monroe only sold beer in restaurants on Sundays. Thank the lord they passed the law now that allows alcohol sells on Sunday. This is one of the reasons I don’t venture across the Ouachita river very often. In Monroe I can start drinking as soon as the restaurant opens.

As I’m half full at 12:30. Don’t judge me you uptight snobs

Idiotic Baptists who are holier than thou push this crap to repent on Sunday’s after their binge of prostitutes and booze the night before.

It’s not baptists where I live, it’s pentecostals and mennonites. You can’t buy any alcohol here on sundays.

What does the post I was replying to have anything to do with someone from New Orleans waking up in BR on a Sunday
