They can’t afford to drop $15 on breakfast every morning + more for snacks and lunch. But it’s likely a lack of financial awareness
They can't stop at a store and not buy something. Its a genetic thing. They cant help it.

You can get a hot breakfast and coffee combo for like $3 at most of them. I think most of you are vastly over estimating the cost, it’s not expensive. Cheaper than fast food
That’s not what they’re buying though. They’re buying 2 Monster energy drinks for $8 and the premium food options for $4, plus tobacco (idk how much a can of dip costs), plus chips/sunflower seeds/other snacks $5

White collar guy here. Nothing wrong with a stop at RaceTrac for a diet Coke and some beef jerky.
OP is a fig.

Yea it aint shite for a pipe fitter to drop $30 at a gas station in the morning, not counting fuel.
They make good money but they play hard and playing hard is hard work. I wasnt being sarcastic eariler. They are hung over and running on little sleep, probably on their 18th consecutive 13 hour day, and they dont give a shite what it costs. They need coffee and a biscuit and it has to be timed properly so they dont shite their pants on the way to work but have to shite shortly after getting there. The whole morning routine is a ritual for those guys and their sanity is hanging together by one tiny ragged thread and anything "off" will totally frick their day up.

What he’s really doing is stroking his own fragile ego by looking down on others. For him to feel good about himself, he has to see himself as “superior” to others. OP doesn’t realize it, but what this thread really does is expose his own insecurities.

I've never understood why anyone, regardless of the color of their collar, makes daily stops at convenience and grocery stores to buy drinks and snacks.
I'm an engineer, so I was white collar. Now retired.
But I worked construction in the heat of several summers when I was in college.
Every day I would make and pack a couple of sandwiches and grab a quart of Gatorade from the refrigerator that I had purchased from a grocery store over the weekend.
That got me through the day. I would pace myself on drinking the Gatorade even though we were working outside in 100-degree heat.
My coworkers who were construction lifers could not believe the self discipline, but it was not difficult.

Yea for a pipe fitter agreed. It’s the lawn guys dropping $20-30 every morning that boggles the mind

Its the same genetic programming and largely everything still applies. The size of the paycheck is different but it doesnt matter. Stop at store = go in and buy something. They cant help it.

How does it feel to be one of the objectively shittiest users on a board full of complete retards? Are you proud of this, do you look at your post history while you beat off in your dirty mirror?

I worked on call 24/7 for 30 yrs. When you basically have to keep a go bag at all times in your house so you have all your shower supplies and extra clothes cause you’ll be gone for about 2 1/2 days when the phone rings. Going to work between 11 PM and 4 AM at times forces you to eat what you could find. Especially called out of the hotel. I premade some meals but if I worked for 12 plus hours which was normal one meal didn’t cut it. We averaged about 10-15 hrs at home between trips. Tough life

Not really.
I went to university after I got out of the Marines because I figured out working smart was better than working hard.
Have been wfh the last 15 years, making triple what those "baws" with their truck payments (I own my F250) barely get with all the OT they can scrape together.
I work maybe 4 hours a day, from home, and get paid for 12.
Smart > hard.
That's the difference.
