$74.99

They need to make season passes double that in BR to try to weed out the clientele who use the water park as their summer daycare.

Ticket prices for the one in The 'Sip may prove prohibitive to emptying the trailer parks and projects.

Why? $75 for a season pass is cheap daycare

No season passes

Or make them $500

And there needs to be 1 adult over 18 for every 2 minors entering. Exception for birthday parties approved in advance

He can sell the rides online. Some of them are worth $100,000 and more.
He'll still own the land and lease it for $10k+ a month.

$48 per day, so season ticket is a bargain

Rural location vs urban location. If Blue Bayou was located out past Sorrento or past Denham Springs the crowd would be completely different.

Wow. If I was going buy a season pass (hypothetically), I would have absolutely expected to pay near $300.. Or what would equal around 7 trips paying the $48 a day. As a consumer you would have to go 8 times for it to be worth getting the season ticket..

I would think that even at $120 those who paid $76 would be willing to pay $120.

I saw the article that said new management and didn't realize they meant new ownership. That's huge. It was never going to succeed under a guy who nobody will work for because they know he won't pay them.

On a side note, The Yard has terrible timing....

$15 milkshakes were never going to keep the lights on with Blue Bayou the only tourist draw nearby. Andy's drove the last nail.

Blue Bayou Water Park purchased
not purchased...leased
quote:

According to a lease filed Friday with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court’s Office, SFBB LLC of Mandeville will pay $50,000 a month in base rent for Blue Bayou. SFBB is a group made up of Haggerty, Paul Rees, a Mandeville tax attorney who serves as president and chief financial officer of Leisure Sports and Recreation, and Mark Moore, general manager of Gulf Islands Waterpark, according to a business filing with Louisiana Secretary of State’s office. The lease is set to expire at the end of 2027, but there are options to renew the lease for up to six five-year terms. SFBB also has the right of first refusal to buy Blue Bayou if the park ownership receives an offer for the land.
