They did a few strips with Hobbes, Opus and Milo. They started looking for Calvin, said that he'd disappeared and hadn't been seen in forever, and then did this with Oliver.

and this was today. It looks like Calvin turned into Steve Dallas 2.0 in space. I don't know why. It just made me happy.

I'm seeing them just fine.

What sucks is that when they finally find him, Calvin is going to be a middle-aged black dude.

So is Calvin and Hobbes coming back? I always loved those comics.

Watterson tried to bring him back with Calvin and Susie's kid, a girl, but it didn't do well. No one wanted to see a grown-up, settled-down Calvin. I guess that's why Breathed was allowed to go this way with it.

Did The Far Side ever come back fully? I never saw anything beyond the handful if new ones they did when they announced it was coming back.

Oh, I didn't know that was a fan comic. It's weird to let someone take over his brand like that.
But then, we have the trucker stickers, so.....

Calvin and Hobbes ………………..ftw, forever. No politics, no preaching, no bs. The best comic there ever was.

It took me a minute, but once I read through I smirked.
Then I grinned.
And now I’m about to pull out my Calvin and Hobbes anthology.
Here’s to spaceman spiff.
I was thinking about this strip today

was about to post that the last one was clearly a Spaceman Spiff reference...

Sorry, but I don’t like this at all. I am a huge fan of the original strips, but this just seems contrived. Some things just need to remain the same.
