I hope the women realize that African men don't tolerate women who aren't deferential.

African societies are patriarchal, so they won't put up with a black American woman with an attitude problem.

Not sweeping the continent. Have always been present.

If you talk to many Africans they may even say there are no gay people from their country. In part because the punishment for being gay is so significant.

Honestly, how many people of any race in the USA would think a place with goats, turkeys and a thousand chickens would be a deal to jump at ?

How long before we see the story about the tearful return, explaining how they were misled, and somehow it's whitey's fault?

One thing that Black Americans don’t realize about Africa is that Africa doesn’t give a frick about them. Traditional Africans hate Black American culture. They hate the effect it has on their own youths’ culture. Nobody wants to mention this. So if you’re a Black American and repatriate, you better fall in quickly and adapt, life ain’t the same. Ugandans especially view Black Americans as those who came from tribes who were weak and defeated in warfare way back and thus sold into slavery. In their eyes, if they wouldn’t have been beaten by other tribes and then traded and taken here to America, they would have been their slaves instead. It’s a rough place that sheltered Americans can’t fathom. There ain’t no black comraderie or kumbayah shite if you go there. Africa will frick you, fight you, kill you or eat you.

This story is kind of ironic in that while a few have gone back to Africa, many more or leaving Africa to come to the USA. Racism must not be too bad here.

So wait, you’re telling me people prefer to live in a racially homogenous society? I’m shocked! What we tried to do here is not natural. All you have to do is look at every other life form on earth.

The wife and me have a place in one of the beach towns in Africa. It’s a safe area with nice beaches and waterfalls where the USD and Euro go a long ways. I’m the only white American with a place in the area but there are several white Europeans that live there.

A lot of those places are incredibly beautiful. I’d be concerned about healthcare but the world isn’t as ignorant as it was just 25 years ago. I’m not getting into the race part of it. Good for them if they’ve created a better place for themselves.

I bet they don’t get rid of that citizenship though. shite can go sideways in a hurry in places like that.

I’m sure they are in some of the more touristy parts of the continent. Hope their American jobs and American income has afforded them a way to avoid the realities of living in Africa.

From the sounds of it they were damn close to the top 10% in the USA. Now they are more like the 0.1% of their country.

I’ve tried to raise animals before. It’s a ton of work. So is it just her family raising 1,000 chickens plus goats and turkeys or is she paying workers? What wage is she paying them?
