It's a f'in blackjack, doesn't matter when she see's it. It sucks, and i have told the dealer they were assholes for not knowing and making us play the hand out, and worst is when they think it's funny to fake u out, and act like they dont have it, then suddenly flip it over with a smile.
It's a loss, sucks, but u lose. Now, had you doubled up and hit the 21, and she took your double bet, then you have a beef, but her BJ is winner.
For some reason, the dealers in St.Louis Casinos have always felt it's funny to act like they don't have it, then when everyone gets ready to hit or stick, they flip it over with a grin. I've seen Bruthas get pissed, and almost go after the dealer.

Exactly what I argued. The pit boss said “blackjack is blackjack”! I told her then the dealer needs to reveal her blackjack before burning all of those cards!

That's completely irrelevant. If the dealer had a sure win, then it doesn't matter what cards were coming later. And a reshuffle ensures that it doesn't.

Never seen that but once had a dealer who occasionally strained to see his card. Realized he either had Ace or 4. Nice tipoff.

It’s not a problem unless someone doubled. They shouldn’t lose the double in that instance.

Reminds me of one night I played at the Belle. The dealer could not count for shite. I'm talking 50% of the hands he got wrong. If it wasn't in our favor, we just pointed out his error. However, dude won everyone at the table a couple hundred bucks at least when he miscounted in our favor. In fact, I remember a split and double down where I lost, but he miscounted his hand by 2 and paid me. That hand alone was over $150

Sounds like you all would have lost if the dealer had properly checked her hand. No other hands were dealt; thus, there was no real impact on future results and you left the table to ensure there was no impact on future results. I am probably missing something, though.

I used to deal at the Rouge. We checked for blackjack when an Ace showed (first offering insurance) and for every face up Ten. I’ve blackjack all over and I’ve never seen them not check for an Ace when a ten is showing. Look at a deck of cards from the casino. If you ever notice that sideways 10 or A in the corner, it’s there for the mirror.

There's a dealer at lauberge who'll offer insurance for a long time everytime he has blackjack to tip you off. He's probably my favorite dealer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the dealer doesn't look at their undercard and then offer insurance. If they have an ace, they offer then look......and yes out boss was correct and as stated earlier, the only argument would have been if additional money would have been added to the original bet.
