Daniel Caeser, who is black, asked the above question and said black people should stop being so sensitive. Now, he's getting blasted online. Lots of uncle Tom's hurled his way.

Why is there never an uproar about all the wealthy athletes and such marrying women of no color?

Obviously not always directly, and certainly not without ugly parts, but “white people” as a whole have given other peoples of color more opportunity to elevate themselves than anything else.

Even the poor here are better off than most of those left in Africa, or Haiti.

It might have been an ugly process but history usually is, and evolutionarily speaking (as it comes to spreading your genetic material) the bad things that happened were the best for their race overall, since it spread their genes to an entire new continent that they wouldn’t have reached otherwise. And gave their ancestors significantly better lives. Just as it did with all ethnicities who came here and got the raw deal but eventually found their progeny benefitted from their hardships.

I've tried having that "slavery was horrible but current day descendants are better off for it" conversation with black friends before and it doesn't usually turn out very well.

Having a logical argument on an emotional subject is a waste of time.

I’m at the point to where I’m numbing myself to a lot of this bullshite and cries of “racism” because a lot of what I see isn’t racially motivated nearly as much as it is learning from experience.

I feel I could answer this question, but I dont want to get banned for supposed racism again.

That groupthink mindset is a terrible thing. I like Daniel, too. I hate he has to go through this. He hasn't backtracked on anything either. I hope he stays the course.

If BT Washington’s plans had been realized, the black community would be in much better shape

It's a good thing that child was abused horribly by his parents, otherwise he wouldn't have been adopted. Sure the new parents don't give him any attention or treat him like part of the family, but at least he's not starving or being beaten.

Daniel Caesar's drunken attempt to defend a white woman (Julieanna Goddard) who bashed 2 African-Americans is royally backfiring on the singer.

The recent Grammy winner pondered "Why are we being so mean to white people right now?" He posed that question in reference to online personality Julieanna Goddard -- aka YesJulz -- while he was on Instagram Live and essentially said it's a problem when black people can't take a joke.

Most black people aren't. Just the ones making excuses for their failures.
