They want to antagonize locals to shoot and stir shite up because they, like radical islamists, want chaos. They are there to make the biggest scene possible and don't really care about the black guy that got shot or the protesters

If you're open carrying, I imagine a police officer can ask for your ID and run your record.

Actually I do frown upon it. Sure they have the right to open carry like anyone else. But peaceful protest shouldn't consist of carrying guns around. Kinda like going to a nonalcoholic party but toting a case a beer around just because you can. As I said, silly animals.
