I thought black holes sent their meals to another dimension in space time?

Anything that fully makes impact won't, but black holes aren't actually holes. Just think of a physical object so massive that not even light can escape its gravitational pull. But just like we slingshot satellites around the moon, if you get the speed and the angle just right, I imagine you could end up with bits that launch around and back out. The window for that to happen is apparently quite small, though.

If you cross the event horizon it’s not escaping. Black holes are an area of singularity they do not have a surface.
There are interesting theories on them. One of which basically is our observable universe is actually within the event horizon of a black hole. And more universes exist that we cannot see. And that when a black hole is created within our universe a big bang occurs and there is a white hole on the reverse side of the black hole where matter absorbed by the black hole is ejected from the white hole creating an entirely new small universe. But the new universe cannot see past the white hole because no light, matter or information can enter it.
It’s incredibly fascinating to think about. It only sucks that I’ll never get close to the answers in my lifetime

Yes.

We don't actually know that.

I enjoy the theories as well

I'm sure the star didn't make it past the event horizon before being ripped apart and flung out while in the black hole's accretion disk.
Correct. Once past the event horizon, it isn't coming out in the method described. Here's the original article if you are interested.

And the smart ones know how it all works

I think science knows less about black holes than the human brain and we aren’t even close to understanding our own brains
The idea of a black hole being immensely dense matter eating other matter through its gravitational pull seems less plausible every time something is published on the subject
I think there’s a better chance that it’s a window to other dimensions or other points in space time
Perhaps the presence of matter dilates the portal or wormhole and we observe that as expansion ? I just don’t think that matter stops and becomes part of the core
Physics has changed the speed of light 7 times
Have we changed other constants like that ? No , math is the same today as it was for Divinci or Newton or Cro-Magnon.
I’m not a physicist but I took a lot of physics and never could get in agreement with the assumptions made regarding this subject matter

Expound? I'm not familiar.

It moved.

For starters, the speed of light isn’t a true constant.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been interested in it, but apparently the speed of light has been measurably slowing down.

It’s possible to come back out, but only if you enter the black hole backwards.

That is some cool shite. When does our star find a black hole?

No, you have it wrong. The law of physics you are thinking about is actually, “Once you go black you can’t come back”

I escaped from a black hole once

What's amazing, these astronomers are looking at the events that occurred at this black hole 665 million years ago. No telling what is happening right now.
