Because the news media and entertainment industry promote and endorse hate towards Republicans. They have created a toxic culture.
It’s like they didn’t learn from the last Presidential election, I don’t understand how people don’t realize this. Sooner or later people say frick it all and go with something new and shiny and doesn’t mind talking shite and getting down and dirty.

You think this kid is all hopped up on MSNBC or something? He probably heard Trump was a racist, confronted the kid, they had words, and he assaulted him.
Because ..... that’s the false narrative that is planted everywhere on television, film, music, social media, and pop culture in general.
And that’s exactly the point. The media and entertainment industry have created a culture of hate towards Republicans (and Trump supporters in general)

Edmond, Oklahoma is a pretty conservative place. This kid will end up with something.

Of course it doesn’t... this high school though... he knocked at the door someone answered
So if you wear something I don’t like, does that give me the right to assault you? If so, what level of assult? Just a bitch slap or can I grab a baseball bat and cave your skull in? I’m just trying to understand where the line is drawn.

And you think you can get away sexually assaulting a woman because of how she was dressed too I bet. Ignorant little POS's like you are obvious.

Always so tough when they have 5 v 1 numbers, vs elderly, women, or nerds who cannot defend themselves. Just such badasses

So wearing an Obama '44 shirt to school you should be expected to be assaulted by white students. You've bought into the fascist lefts' argument.

High School and the REAL world two different things...my advice to the kid would be to fight the guy win or lose ... Kid knew he’ll get a reaction... this the reaction...
Let me clarify something... by no means do I think the other guy in the right... I think he out of line for even caring about a hat...it’s bullshite between high school students the heading even misleading “Black vs White... this not one of them situations... but the extreme on both sides will turn it into that.. it’s basically everyday high school stuff

So should a black student wearing an Obama or Black Lives Matter Shirt to school expect his white classmates to assault him?

This "culture of hate" is a farce. Like I said, don't be so dramatic.
I wouldn't call it a culture. That may be what they hope for. But, the media and entertainment industry is ABSOLUTELY portraying republicans as horrible people. It's popular to compare them to Nazis and the KKK. If that's not driving hate, I don't know what is.
I don't care what your political allegiances are. When you're comparing people to groups like that simply because they wear a MAGA hat, you're no better than what you're accusing them of(not saying you do).
There's so much hypocrisy and double standards right now. People openly support assault of Trump supporters, but turn around and cry foul when they defend themselves. That's complete bullshite. I'm not even a fan of President Trump but, if you lay your hands on me with intent of violence, as God as my witness I will absolutely beat you to a bloody fricking pulp. And I don't give a frick if you're white, brown, or black. You will be black, blue and red at the end. If these people want to start shite, they better be able to finish it.

If it happened with the frequency of the attack’s on people wearing MAGA gear it would be nonstop national media attention, just like one of the fake hate crimes that supposedly happened during the last few years.

Darth you making this a Black vs White thing... but to answer your question... YES... in certain parts of this country yes they should...
That’s not the point though... what if the kid was White who did it (which we both know possible considering Trump) ... would it be viewed as just regular high school shite???

That is a fricking stupid argument. Before and after Obama was elected I saw plenty of blacks wearing shirts that said "paint the White House black" I don't recall hearing a single thing about any white person assaulting a black person over this or telling them to take off the shirt. That shite has zero impact on me. Someone could wear a nazi shirt and I wouldn't care. This white kid did absolutely nothing wrong. Quit being a damn pansy, grow a set and start acting like a man.
There are a people who still fly the confederate flag and they are not assaulted by black people. These are two high school kids.
Again... I am not saying he should have been assaulted. I believe in the first amendment. Free speech. But sometimes free speech can cause tension sometimes. That's just the reality of it.
Either way, it's pretty fricking stupid for everyone to be taking the actions of HS students so serious.

other kid should have known better and gone through proper channels
Bullshite. What “proper channels” are you talking about?
The kid wearing the hat committed no crime. Therefore, there were no proper channels to be used anyway. No action needed to be taken against the kid wearing the hat.

Do you think the black kid would have pulled that on another black kid wearing the same hat and cape? What if the other black kid played middle linebacker for the school?
Posted on 2/27/19 at 7:32 pm to crap4brain
I don't always wear my MAGA hat but when I do, I pair it with a black crew neck that says "I'm not opposed to violence."

My point is that roughly half the country thinks the total opposite. The idea that one side or the other is being oppressed by the other, en masse, is absurd.
This hyperbolic talk isn't good for anything.
