Black culture - music, movies, etc.

I grew up with black friends in a somewhat liberal family. Always felt like everyone got along very well during the school years (90s) and after. One of my black friends posted on FB that many white people feel nervous when they are around black 'strangers' in certain public settings.
I realized that this has happened to me a couple of times over the years. Maybe walking to a car after dinner in downtown Lafayette or Nola, or going into a Houston convenience store and being approached suddenly.
I grew up listening to NWA and agreed with their philosophy that nothing is wrong with showing a reflection of their life. Music, movies, and other culture that followed was interesting and became mainstream - yet often EXTREMELY violent. I think that has caused some of the issues for regular 'non-racist' people, even if just in a subconscious way. If so, I can't say that I blame either the black culture or the white people. It is what it is.

As far as music goes , most of the “black” music should be considered a disgrace in their community. It’s all violent and glorified drugs and other ghetto bullshite. Yet these idiot white kids and privileged black kids are listening to it nonstop and think it’s cool and hip

Weird I listened to NWA too short and a lot of other older rap, I don’t even own Nike and have never broken a window on purpose or stolen shoes & I still listen to it and I still don’t vandalize anything

Is it racist to feel intimidated by a group of black guys on the street? What about a group of white guys? People know when they should be worried and telling them they shouldn't be, or it's racist, is just part of the liberal propaganda to divide everyone.

Being suddenly approached is pretty much always a good reason to increase your awareness and be ready for something
