People loose their minds. Not only do they try to get to close to wildlife but traffic turns into a nightmare if there is a wildlife sighting. I'd love to go more to the park but don't want to fight crowds of stupid people.

When we were in Yellowstone, I had to yell at a couple. Had their backs to a large male deer taking pics. He was closing the gap fast. 30mph fast. They jumped in the
car right as he hit.

I feel like the wolf could cover it. Especially if they're all built like the people in that pic.

I was reading about Bison today in Dan Flores' writings; this hits close to home. Could have been me.

Agree, just ask that poor bastard that got mauled by the lion in Africa just for entering his pen.

Exactly my first thought when reading the 100 yard wolf policy. Is that far enough away even for someone who can run at a decent pace?

You’re forgetting that the wolves aren’t allowed to get within 100 yards either.

If I saw a pack of wolves 100 yards away from me, I'm getting the frick out of there

When I lived in Jackson it was a common thing to hear about some Asian who saw a big old lone bull buff, and wanted a picture of himself standing next to it.

Anyone with an ounce of self preservation sees a lone bull, and instinctively knows that it is to be left the hell alone. Japs must not have that gene.

You couldn't possibly find a more surly and dangerous animal in the Park short of a mother griz with her cubs.

Glad someone else noticed this

Packs of wolves are scary AF and can close ground lightening fast.
