i looked him up in assessor search. he seems to own a house near the trace which has a different mailing address for the property. there's another house under his name elsewhere in covington too. both are technically covington, not abita.

There is someone who always shits on Covington and props up Abita.

And I always point out this area is closer to Abita than parts of Covington.

The middle of Abita is 2 miles from where this happened.

But I don't really mean Abita is shitting up the place. Just that you live close to the shite.

i'm right here in the middle of this area. i'm more than familiar. its just weird for all news articles to say abita if its technically not abita where he's from. he could be living in abita, i'm just posting some info i found not sure what all to make of it.

I live 10 miles from there, with a Covington mailing address.

But also, you article says they were acquainted, so this might not be just some random crime.

I’ll agree they can be annoying, but pass them and move on.

Sometimes that's tough to do when they ride in the fricking highway (e.g. river road) at 10mph and hold up 20 vehicles.

for the 50th fricking time, the rider was on a dedicated bike path

If bikers can ride on the road then I feel I should be able to drive on the bike path.

Yeah bro, but the rider probably didn’t stop at the intersection and the driver was totally 110% in the right to get out and defend his right to the right-of-way with deadly force. The cyclist should have respected that driver’s authority. And all cyclists are assholes. Every. Single. One.

So there.
