So many fun ones to choose from, but my personal favorite was closing the beaches. That was something else sitting in a long line to show our papers to be "checked-in" to Florida.

The point when I realistically raised my eyebrow was when I couldnt get into places without a picture of my vaccines. Yet I could still go to the grocery store and most other “essential” places.
I went ahead and put my adobe skills to use and made a fake vax card when a family member was getting married. Rehearsal dinner and wedding reception in NOLA both required it. Wedding was already booked a year in advance and I was in the wedding. It was weird predicament that both venues enforced 3-4 weeks before wedding. The groom was vaxxed, but asked if I could make 15 or so for unvaxxed people in wedding when I showed him what I made. Knowing we have a conservative family Im pretty sure I saved the wedding. He was very appreciative.

We require a higher level of respiratory protection for spray painting than we did for a deadly respiratory virus that killed 7 million people.
Yeah. Masks don't work and never did. I believe the Univ of Toronto did a study during the pandemic.

When I remembered in Oct of 2019 Joe Biden out of the blue tweeting that America wasn't prepared for a pandemic.
On October 25, 2019, Biden tweeted out a blunt piece of cautionary advice to the U.S. about getting prepared to deal with a pandemic.
"We are not prepared for a pandemic. Trump has rolled back progress President Obama and I made to strengthen global health security. We need leadership that builds public trust, focuses on real threats, and mobilizes the world to stop outbreaks before they reach our shores," Biden tweeted. He was responding to a Global Health Security Index report that said America was leading in health crisis infrastructure but pointed out glaring faults which could be exploited by an international virus crisis."
I thought the tweet had very odd timing but by March of 2020 I realized it was a coordinated attack.

When it came out that there was a virology lab in Wuhan that was studying COVID viruses…but it didn’t come from there. It was obvious they were trying to cover up the cause….and now that we know US money was involved I know why.
Also the immediate crack down on any doctor that was using anything other than the vaccine for treatment. Even if there was only a 5% chance HCQ or ivermectin worked…there was no reason to basically make it criminal to use them as both are safe and have been used by humans for decades.
It’s really disappointing that even a pandemic and the response to it got politicized. It’s also eye opening to see how so many people can be influenced by obvious bullshite.

Having worked in a nursing home throughout COVID; I will say that it was scary at times in the beginning. How ever, I knew it was crazy when we had staff members lining up to test when we were in outbreak, and celebrating when they tested positive and had a 5 day vacation. Also when we would have to isolate residents for 10 days who didn’t have a single symptom

When the worlds leading experts on virology, the CDC, tells us the virus can live on surfaces for days, and the whole country buys every Clorox product made, and wipes down every square inch of everything, then six months later, they tell us “It’s highly unlikely for the virus to spread from surface contact”.

The next day after the pandemic was declared and construction was essential. I was building a theater for Christ's sakes. Poor working schmo's busted arse while office people went home with checks. The company I worked for got over a million dollars in PPP money. I didn't see any of that. But I was risking my life. Covid.
