Wrong, but I went to private school with non trashy kids. Pretty much all of us wore polos, Sperry's, khaki shorts etc. I guarantee if anyone wore a Big Johnson t shirt, they would have been picked on mercilessly. But keep telling yourself how "classy" you are
Just because your parents had money it doesn’t mean you have class. But keep riding that high horse.

We would always goto 30A while all my friends went to PCB. My parents would never drive us over to buy a BJ shirt.
BTW, thanks for ruining 30A for us.

As evidenced by the private school kid wearing big Johnson shirts.

at one time, my entire wardrobe consisted of eiter a Big Johnson, Yaga, or No Fear t-shirt, Girbaud jeans or Umbros (bonus if in cutoff khaki shorts), and either a Cocks or Beavers hat. So classy back in the 90's. I only saved my Tommy Hilfigers, gold chain, and Doc Martens for going out. Wearing Coolwater or CK1
I actually still have a pair of these Doc's and wear them occasionally with jeans or khakis

What about the Big Dog shirts?
The go-to shirt for tall guys in the late 80's, early 90's.

The younger generations will never know the joy of opening that Sports Illustrated issue in the late 70's and seeing that AJD had added LSU as one of their new SuperStripe Cap schools. I ordered that shite the same day.

In addition to seeing these at the Florida beach shops, I used to see Big Johnson's shirts at Spencer's in the Acadiana Mall. I knew my parents wouldn't go for it so I never attempted to buy one.
In about 7th grade, one of my friends left a Big Johnson's shirt at my house. I remember somewhat hiding it from my parents and then wearing it 'out' somewhere, which was probably the mall. Quickly realized it didn't seem as cool wearing it as it did just seeing it at Spencer's.

I’m just saying a 12-18 year old kid only wearing sperry’s And polo shirts was very much not the norm in the 90’s early 2000’s.
This was mid 90's and it absolutely was the norm with most of the kids I hung out with and in the same circles. None of these kids were wearing Big Johnson or any kind of graphic tee when we went out to TJ's, Tucks, etc on the weekend.
Classic styles stay classic for a reason.
Also, yes, I realize money doesn't buy class, but there is no way anyone here can classify Big Johnson shirts as anything but trashy. Just own it

Again never tried to defend it as anything other than trashy. Also I never sported one as I wasn’t a teenager in the 90’s and my parents would never have let me wear one.
I did sport the shite out of the umbro shorts and no fear shirts while running around outside and at the beach during the summer though. Pre teen me didn’t know what fashion was

These are the threads where I'm 100% convinced that no matter how much the OT brags about how wealthy and classy they are and start an untold amount of threads on what's trashy or not, that the majority of this board are the trashiest motherfrickers you could imagine.
I don't need a thread to reiterate our level of trashy. We are one big ole trashy, time wasting family.
Now who's bringing the instant chocolate pudding to thanksgiving this year?

How about the Oregon State Beavers hat in the same mold as Cocks.
Could work. It's difficult for me to describe how much I love a nice clean, nice smelling beaver.
