Little help requested here: where are you pulling these GFS/EURO maps from (and using what parameters)?
Gotta balance my plans between sharing a Christmas Day Chinese-restaurant dinner with my Jewish friends and running around the field dealing with my clients' 2017 Snowmageddon Part 2.

Looks like a similar setup to 12/8 snow on the 28th. Frozen precip along the Texas coast.

Weather underground hasn't picked up on this event, only a low of 30 degrees

The 12z run is coming out now, but it's backed off the snowpocalypse on the 23rd for TX. Looks like a really shitty day for the mid atlantic/northeast on the 23rd
Dec 26th, 6am looking rough in LA

GFS took the storm diving over the Rockies Thursday more north. Which is the idea sceanrio for me right now. Going to be bringing some cold air over the east for sure though. Just hoping the energy for precip stays over the northern plains

The GFS for the last two model runs has taken snow and cold weather out of the mix for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.. Daytime temps look to be in the upper 60's - low 70's with Nighttime lows in the upper 50s.. Probably going to be dealing with fog more than anything else. Sorry folks.. This is why we take these long range models with a grain of salt.

Great another lukewarm, foggy, humid Christmas. I fricking hate La.

36 degrees at noon on Christmas Eve. Sleet/snow Christmas Eve night/Christmas morning for BR.
The flip flop continues.
