I got the COVID-19 vaccine today! My wing is feeling a little sore, but it'll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy.

Ms. @EricaRHill even said I’ve been getting vaccines since I was a little bird. I had no idea!

…Big Bird’s median audience is 4 years old. They’re not even approved for the vaccine yet at all. What the frick is this bullshite?! This ridiculous and sadistic.

I didn’t have Sesame Street on my OML super outrage card today.

Unfortunate. I would’ve had bingo with the free space, China, not buying movie tickets, and KitKat commercials.

Oh my God, it’s worse. CNN is apparently hosting a town hall with Sesame Street characters telling kids why they should get the Covid vaccine. These people are evil: Twitter

Normally some of the replies are mocking or making fun of something like this. But every one I read was congratulating him, a fricking costume bird for kids.

At what price would you get vaccinated? Like say I make 30k a year and get offered a job making 150k but requires the shot. Do you do it.? What about 250k a year? We are about to become a 2 tier society:

Big Bird need to read up about Marek's disease Wiki: Marek's disease "Marek's disease is a highly contagious viral neoplastic disease in chickens."

"However, the leaky vaccine changes this evolutionary pressure and permits the evolution of highly virulent strains."

This has been known for decades. These leaky vaccines, for both Marek's and CCPV, are very dangerous, as they lead to more deadly strains dominating.

it’s interesting that you think OML making a post on a forum board on the topic is more concerning than a nationally televised children’s show pushing a vaccination for a virus that statistically doesn’t effect them. (see the CDC’s website)

i mean, regardless of what your stance on adults getting vaccinated is, this is targeting toddlers - does that seem normal to you? (even if you’re not a parent.)

It'd be shocking to me if Sesame Street didn't have a long history of being involved in public health initiatives. Elmo appeared with the Surgeon General at the time in 2014/2015-ish talking about vaccines. This is pretty par for the course for them.

I just think OML has reached peak pearl-clutching status as his last thread was telling us how 6 year old were going to demand their parents take them to get vaccinated.

Too bad we didn't send Big Bird on the Challenger in 86 like we originally planned so his progressive democrat arse would have died.

I’m just glad that this took him away from posting about Afghanistan. Happy for the change of pace.

normal routine vaccinations for children? i mean, i don’t understand why that needs to be in a children’s show to begin with.

i mean….if their parents use Sesame Street and other children’s programming as a babysitter. It’s not far fetched to suggest that might happen. No?

So is the risk of healthy children being hospitalized or dying of COVID. particularly in the demographic Sesame Street is targeting.
