In 1890? You claim to have a higher Ed degree and say this? GTFO.

Bro you are taking money from the tax payers to finance your debt. You are no better than a welfare queen.

Be a man of character.

I have a million coming in a lump sum when I retire at 55 as well. Medical and other benefits from working for a major corporation. I’m not even including a sizable inheritance (from my boomer parents) or what my wife has saved and invested. The house is paid off at 59. No debt.

I think I’ll be ok.

So what if you make $124k?

What about those graduating this Fall and next spring? Next year? Is it in perpetuity? What if you only have $1K left on your loan?

All of this is such a joke. Solve the problem of college affordability/the cost of college before solving the “loan crisis”

Pretty sure you can refinance student loans.

Not at the rates new borrowers are getting. Also, you lose any opportunity at forgiveness should this type of thing go through.

So people who got student loans for an actual degree with value and make over $125k, frick them? They not only don't get any relief, but they get to pay for the other people's relief? Double whammy, double frick-you to the middle class from the Left.

In case anyone here hasn't figured it out yet, the Left's goal is a small elite ruling class over masses of serfs. No middle class.

We don’t have student debt but if he would let my wife write off 10k from her TJ Maxx card I would really appreciate it.

Did she buy the whole damn store?

Why don’t you, instead of enjoying a nice house and vacations, pay for POCs education?

How about refunding $10k from my college education that I paid in full with scholarships and work?

The real issue is people who cant afford college, and who dont apply to begin with. Id rather funding upfront for middle school/high school kids to attend better schools

More guaranteed federal dollars for tuition will just cause colleges to raise tuition rates more.

Why not give every taxpayer 10k? Why was the debt people took out for college more worthy of forgiveness than the debt a landscaper went into for equipment? Or the car someone bought to commute to their job? This is such bullshite.

Keep in mind this would just be for borrowers who have federal student loans.

Why do GenZ and Millennials deserve the money and GenX and Boomers get fricked?
