material is ribbed not smooth but the shirt is super comfortable.

Ribbed wife beaters are like the trashy seer sucker that no one sees. They keep you much cooler/warmer by nature of the design.

Who wears undershirts?

Do you sweat a lot?

After my weight loss, I've gone to not wearing undershirts anymore. It feels much better, and is less hot.

I'll wear a polyester undershirt if I'm in sleeves and going to sweat.
Soaks it up and keeps it from bleeding through, also dries quickly.

Cotton undershirt is just asking to stay wet all day.

I used to wear Stafford, but have went with Hanes ComfortBLEND or X-Temp. Collar is great, and material is soft and stays cool.

I have to wear an undershirt under my work shirt (FRC material). It's not for swear as much as it is to keep the harsh material off my skin.

I don't wear undershirts but I do like a nice crispy white tee from time to time, I only wear them once though.

I didn't realize so many people where undershirts. I never have. What's the point?

You obviously don't live in the Deep South and wear business attire on a daily basis, particularly the summer.
