I have a sectional that is damaged. Called Salvation Army but they wouldn't take it because of damage.
What would a junk hauler charge?
I'm in NO.

Drop if off on UK's campus and they'll burn it for you.

Put on the the side of the road. Also, Roadside Couch would be a good band name.

Put it on the curb. Will be picked up before end of day-- depending on where you live in Nola that is.

Post it on the free section on Craigslist if it’s usable.

Leave it at the curb. Some idiot will take it.

Mardi Gras right around the corner. Just hold it for another month and drop it off on the neutral ground around one of the parade routes

Post a curb-alert on social media and/or Craig's List and put it to the corner on a sunny day. It will disappear. I did this just a few months ago.

You haven't heard them?
"Cushion Change Tacos" and "Just Flip It Over (she'll never notice)" are pretty solid.

Drive into a fancy neighborhood and dump it on someone's lawn. Be sure to remove all trash that may identify you.

I just rent a big dumpster and get it dropped in the driveway.
Fill it up with stuff you don't want, like your sectional.
Call and get the dumpster hauled away.
These dumpsters cost $400-$450 here in North Georgia.

We had one that caught crabs in our fraternity house. It was promptly removed.

Post it for free on FB marketplace. I did that with an old sofa that was pretty beat up and within an hour, I had about 20 messages from people wanting to come get it. Then just picked the least sketchy looking profile to respond to

This is what wooded areas were invented for.

Bought one of those back breaking big screen projection tvs in the late 90s. Flat screen tvs came out a few years later. Purchased flat screen and tried to give the big beast away but no takers. It still worked like new. Put it at road and it was gone in an hour.
