Looking to go on an all inclusive relaxing vacation. Maybe with a golf course. Somewhere outside of the US. Maybe the DR, Bahamas, etc. Just not Mexico. Any suggestions. TIA OTer's

under 1k? With flights? Out of the country?

That would be very hard if its not Mexico. Maybe Costa Rica?

Assuming this is by yourself?

Probably Mexico but look into Mexico City instead of the Yucatan. Not too long of a flight and definitely "out of the states".

ETA: missed the all inclusive part. A resort is a resort IMO. They're all self contained and pretty much the same.

You’ll get more helpful answers if this is moved to the Travel Board.

No one on the OT travels for less than $10k.

I really enjoyed my trip to Costa Rica a few years back. I'm sure you can find an all inclusive place on the beach in the mountains on the pacific.

I found one or two in the DR that didn't look too bad. May just stick with that. Seeing if anyone had any super secret spots they were willing to share.

Arkansas is pretty close to what you are asking.

Wife and I went to Punta Cana for right around $2k. That included flights and was all inclusive. The resort didn't have a golf course, but there was one within a few miles that we could have used.

ETA: Went for 4 days, during middle of January

under 1k for one person is extremely difficult but possible (at a very cheap place), but it would need to be mexico.

A place like DR you are looking at more like 1500 at least
