I know it is trashy but a Wal-mart would be your best bet. You get food clothing and weapons all in a one stop apocalypse shop.

Grocery stores will run out of food quick. I'd rather get stuck in a sporting goods store. They have clothing, guns, ammo, fishing/hunting gear. With all that, I can catch my own food to survive and have a nice tent to live in.

A location with a Lowe's or Home Depot and immediately next to it or across the street an Academy. The racks in Lowe's and Home Depot can hold pallets and pallets of quikcrete and bundles of lumber. It can hold my arse in it. Get an order picker and go straight to the top. Especially if they are slow and stupid zombies and not World War Z ones. Pickers can drive while being in the air and are very hard to flip. Those stores will have plenty of supplies in it to use to kill, decapitate, and be successful immediately. They also have pallets of bottle water most of the year and candy/chips and stuff by the register. Vending machines in the back as well as appliances stuffed with employee food for the day to eat off of for a few days.

Aww shite. I didn't realize this was a zombie apocalypse. What race are the zombies? Need to know whether I should build a wall or take a kayak across a small body of water

Walmart would be good, as long as there are only a few friends with you. Food, drinks and guns

Physician, although good if you can survive, is an awful one to be at the start of anything biological, especially zombie.

The first page of this thread just proves how fricked 90% of the people in this country are if it ever does go down.

I always thought a Smoothie King would be a good place to hold up. Tons of water, meal replacements, snacks, fruit, etc. Easy to fortify and not a place people think of to ransack. Wouldn't last more than a couple weeks or so, but most of the craziness would be over after the first couple of weeks..

Walmart, maybe a Cabela's too. You could trade all the ammo, guns and camping equipment for food.
