For starters, wrong board. But Fountainbleau on the north shore always stays packed but has excellent amenities.

Reunion Lake if you want the bougie experience.

Tickfaw during the 200 is Tits Up!

Bogue Chitto has pretty good amenities but the paths aren’t as clean as Fountainbleau. Better for primitive and packing in...

This has been a north shore camping report.

Fountainbleu, Chico, and Tickfaw were the go-to’s when I was in scouting.

Cortana Walmart is ghetto fabulous if your up for an adventurous primitive experience.

Can’t say enough great things about the park ranger Corsica-Miata.

Grand Isle State Park is awesome if you like to fish. My kids love it there.

When we did, it was in Mississippi. We rarely camped anywhere more than a 2 hour drive.

South Toledo bend state park is a good one in my area. Really any of the campgrounds around Toledo are nice. This particular one has really clean, nice showers and restrooms. Laundry facility too.

What does "bougie" mean? Semi-trashy middle class people? That's what I see going in and out of there when I stop for gas at that station.

Camp site’s nothing special, but the fact that it connects to the Tammany Trace is really nice for a bike ride trip.
