Thinking of purchasing a camper and looking for some places to spend the weekend. I know about Lakeview in Eunice, Palmetto State Park in Abbeville, and a couple in Robert Louisiana.

Bogue Chitto in Franklinton, Fontainebleau and Fairview in Mandeville. Any of the state parks. Should be opening a new resort style campground in Robert this year. Also Paradise Ranch is in Tylertown, Ms.

You need to do it Lafayette style at Cajun palms tee. 10% off if you have a tribal tat.

Indian Creek just south of Alexandria used to have a great primitive area with lots of space and a really nice area for campers.

It isn't like those Vegas attraction campgrounds. It is more in touch in nature and relaxing.

Crooked Creek is decent. It’s smaller and more private and about 15 miles from Chicot State park.

Lake Faussee Canoe Campsite

I second this. I've stayed here several times, and it simply can't be beat.

Clark's creek also has some nice camping/hiking to offer.
