Go to the River Oaks area bars or go downtown to some of the nicer hotel bars around discovery green. I always find, in any city, the nicer hotel bars are where it’s at.

I agree with the comment on hotel bars downtown.
To OP, there is no shame in cougars. If anything, they are easier and more fun. You just don't want to marry them.

That whole complex has some upscale options that I bet have a lot of MILFS and cougars. The Gables apartments over there looked very nice when I was looking for a short lease. Crazy that a guy was murdered there.
