Standard of living, education, work availability, government accountability, etc..... where is the best Parish/ County your state has to offer?

LA- St Tammany (I could argue Ascension belongs here too)
Miss- Hancock ?
AL- Baldwin ?

In Mississippi? I'd say Rankin, Madison, Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock counties.

ETA: If I had to pick one? Rankin.

Maybe at some point in the past but not now. It's got to be St. Tammany right now. I'd Maybe even put Calcasieu up there behind St. Tammany with all the economic activity.

Lincoln. St Tammany is choking to death on suburban sprawl.

Collin is like an upper middle class and above family's wet dream

Safe as can be, great schools, all the entertainment you could want, close to the stuff Collin doesn't have, great property value and insane resale ability, etc it just goes on and on.

Either Suffolk County (contains Boston), Barnstable County (Cape Cod), or Dukes County (Martha's Vineyard)

Not a bad choice. I have family land there and it's a nice area.

LA - St. Tammany. not even close
AL - Baldwin. For the flag incident alone. But otherwise it's gotta be Shelby or maybe even Madison
MS - Rankin. Maybe Madison
TX - Collin. I guess. But I still wouldn't wanna live there...

edit: on second thought, for Louisiana, maybe you can make the case for Ascension.
