Nothing comes close to The Plaza in the late 1990’s and early 2000. Triple stack tulips or blue dolphins, bottles of water and DJ Trashy.

technically Beaux Bridge, but King Fish was the king of all night clubs everywhere
Was in the military mid 90’s met a Teurling Catholic girl on the strip one visit when I was on leave for 3 or 4 years after that I shacked up with her and her friends every time I came home on leave. Names I remember other than places on the strip. Some country bar I believe it’s was called Yellow Rose or something like that and another one out towards Carenco/Sunset was Denium and Diamonds(early 90's)

Who was everyone’s favorite DJ?
Super Dave. I am still in possession of a series of mixtapes he made for us which I converted down digitally. A lot of those tracks have stood the test of time.

The Keg on Wednesday nights from 98-2000.
The only answer I have.
My first trip to the keg driving down from Bunkie was in 2003, at the ripe age of 15, wearing plaid shorts and puka shells around my neck.
What a good time to be alive.

Nightcaps
Used to pregame on $1 hurricanes at the pub until 11, then go to the Keg for a cheap 24oz or 2, then finally it would be time to get ratchet at Nightcaps until 2am.

The Strip in the late seventies was off the chain. Nickel beer at The Keg, freshly cut french fries at the Brass Rail and the OG Rockin Dopsie on a flat bed in the parking lot!! SMASH!!

The "What would you do for $100?" Contest was insane. They would lock the doors at midnight and pretty crazy shite would go down inside There is no way in hell that shite would fly in today's camera phone world
Damn I forgot about that.
