Meh. Save some money-Divorce lawyers are over rated these days for the most part. No fault divorce and joint custody and child support calculated by a table. A bunch put on a big show but the end result is usually no different.

Whoever you decide to use, go by the Cobra Kai motto and strike first. If you give the slightest impression that you’re thinking of having her served, her Facebook friends will whip her into a frenzy and you’ll be playing catch up.
Try to make the process as amicable as possible; use the kid as the reason you want to make the split fair so you two can remain a team for raising the kid.
Make a list of stuff to do as soon as the divorce is finalized like get her off your insurance, cancel any subscriptions and let her sign up again if she wants to keep them, etc. Remove your credit card info from places like the dry cleaner. Buy some Air Tags or Tile trackers and put them on the cars before you file.
They’re all whores. You’ll be okay.
