Get a new feeder. Brome Squirrel Buster Plus. I’ve had three for over ten years and after a few tries, the squirrels just give up.

Just hire a guy from Ville Platte to sit out there. Your squirrel problem will be gone in a day or two.

I burned quite a few with .22 Benjamin pump from my front porch... Damn squirrels were tearing up pine cones.

you have no idea how brave, and acrobatic these rascals are do you ?

it's a dang war I've had with there 3 varmits...

i bought a really nice bird feeder last year from Birds ulimited, ...it's prefectly placed near a window of the house...

I want to enjoy the birds...

i just need help finding the right defense...

if I can find a larger baffle than the one's sold at lowes I think I might get to victory...

as it is, they are hanging upside down off the overhang of our home, and launching themselves down like a hawk....going around my 2 baffle system and landing on the roof of my bird feeder. The overhang of the house is 20' off the ground, it seems they would fear more of a fall....all the way to the ground....in fact a few miss attempts they did fall, but they survive with no problem

it's really impressive how they do it...they don't give up

Constant battle ....
I gave up on the feeder and now just me against them... I have 2 live traps on the fence line and bait it with a cracker peanut butter and jam... I have two traps ....the small squirrel one sometimes missed cause they stretch in and trigger it but still have a leg back out and does not close right....the next size up gets them more..
I stopped counting at 25 last year and already around 5 this year... last year caught three possums also...

They were often getting the cracker and not triggering the trap so I use a small clothespin to hold it on and this helped my catch ratio a lot.
