Is it just me, or has anyone else recognized that no one seems to disappear out there anymore?? Are they all ending up at Ed O’s fishin’ hole instead??

Used to check out all the "mysteries of the unexplained" type books in grade school and high school in the 80s/early 90s. Had me convinced there was legit alien activity or other dimensional shite going on in the Bermuda Triangle.

Later learned that most of the disappearances are easily explained and that, for the high level of traffic it gets, incidents there aren't statistically significant.

Preferred the mystery. Still perplexed by the Navy aircraft squadron that disappeared, though.

Disoriented by bad weather and navigation, likely crashed at sea far from where anyone would think to look.

I think we realized that area gets a disproportionate amount of bad weather

In terms of missing people cases, Alaska is much more interesting than the Bermuda Triangle.

It doesn't have any more incidents than any other places per capita.

The aliens have been done with their research for a while now.

I think more people believe aliens exist now than they did when the Bermuda Triangle was popular.

Bermuda Triangle

I’m old enough to think of the Bermuda Triangle when someone mentions Devil’s Triangle. They used to mean the same thing.

Both are preferable to ending up in the Golden Triangle (Beaumont, Orange, and Port Arthur).
