Hopefully Pardon My Take and Bussin with the Boys see the writing on the wall and get out of Barstool before it's too late.

My kid didn’t believe me until I found a YouTube clip of the news lady actually reading the names off the teleprompter as this graphic or a similar one was displayed.

Since he apologized, I agree with his firing.

Never apologize for singing song lyrics.

PMT can't. Dan is one of the head people at Barstool and has a lot of Penn stock. He is just as up there as Portnoy.

Bussin has said Ben is invited on their show anytime which I'm sure wouldn't play well with Penn

Nothing is more cringe-worthy than white boys listening to hip-hop and rap thinking it makes them look cool or tough.

What do you think happens to Ben mintz in 6months without barstool lol. You are delusional if you think he is this insanely popular figure without big cat making fun of him

Ben Mintz was simply there to be the butt of jokes. It’s hilarious that people in Louisiana think of him as some sort of celebrity.

Solution to this problem is to make an app. Now this app you have to verify multiple ways that you are a black American. Also this app has to be recording using your front and rear facing camera and mic at all times. If the app sees or hear someone it preserves as white then the songs stop play and cannot be resumed until the white person is away from the person listening to the song.

That or just stop writing songs with those lyrics.

How many of us are on Barstool lol…

Almost had my brush with Mintz before he became a name on here… he invited me to the press box to join a radio broadcast for a Chalmette-Airline playoff football game after conversing on Twitter, but he didn’t know that I wasn’t there

“This morning, I made an unforgivable mistake slipping on air while reading a song lyric,” Mintz tweeted Monday morning after reading the slur aloud during his show “Wake Up Mintzy.” “I meant no harm & have never felt worse about anything. I apologize for my actions. I am truly sorry & ashamed of myself.”

I can buy the fact that I don’t get to say that word.

That said if reading a song out loud and accidentally hitting a line without my brain self censoring as quickly as needed - I’d have a hard time calling it an unforgivable mistake and the worst feeling ever.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s dumb and sloppy and irresponsible on his part as a professional but it’s not unforgivable and I promise that we’ve all done something we should feel worse about.

barstool employees exhibiting Barstool behavior… Also, the context here makes it clear he was being jettisoned for Fart-boys sins.

Is it racist that a writer can write the lyric, that an artist can sing the lyric...and they get paid for it, it can be played over public media, all because of the artist’s color...but some poor ole fat boy from Monroe gets canned because he reads the lyric, and is white?

I think its stupid to fire him for that. Its in a song thats for everyone to consume to expect people to not say it its dumb. And more times than not its some white liberal bitch trying to tell other whites why "we" shouldn't say it in a song (like at Kendrick Lamar's concert) because any white person who listens to hip hop and says they don't sing the n word is lying.

As a side note awhile back I was reading something on IG and looked at the comments and if the profile was real, it was some white chick saying "I stopped listening to rap because it makes me uncomfortable that they say the N word so much". Does it really make you uncomfortable?

Anyway, with all that said, Mintz does kind of suck, but he shouldn't have been fired.

I’m not keeping score in the victim Olympics.

I am fine not saying the word.

I don’t think I’d be racing to say it if I were black either but who knows.

Portnoy is a phag for caving to Penn and firing him.

Penn is a majority owner of barstool. As I said in my last post, I think it is dumb he got fired but when someone owns 25% of your company you can't really beat to your own drum anymore.
