As long as that section is soundproof.

I just assumed this was a trill thread

You have brown shoelaces? Well, frick you, sir. Go find service elsewhere.

Just to be clear, it is the board’s opinion that restaurants should be able to refuse service to people

based on their race?
i think you get your answer. In this modern time it isnt about hating a race because of the color of their skin. It is about their actions and attitudes.

This, especially this day and age. With social media, anyone making black people pick up their food from the kitchen would not have a business.
The market would most certainly take care of bigots, unlike the 60s.

Absolutely. The reality of this is that if anyone is stupid enough to not serve someone for being black or white or whatever, the market will take over and run them out of business. Let the market decide the rules, not the government.

The market would most certainly take care of bigots, even more so than in the 60s.
People would intentionally go to the bigot buffet for that simple reason....to avoid people they do not wish to associate with

I don’t know. Places that don’t cater to a bunch of thugs (Willie’s) seem to do fine.
It’s not about skin color as much as attitude and class.

Of course people will. There are small in number, though, and cannot support a business by themselves. You can find people who will support just about every horrible policy imaginable. Just because someone supports it doesn't mean shite.

In some places, the market would weed out the bigots. In other places, they would flourish.
ETA: I would even say that in most places, the market would weed out the bigots.

That would be fine then, because everyone that attends that place would be labeled as a piece of shite.
It would be known as a racist store, legitimately, and the restaurant that doesn't care about race or religion would rise to the top.

Exactly. Middle and upper-class black people hate ghetto blacks like middle and upper-class whites hate trailer park white trash.

I don't think race is the same thing as sexual preference or gender preference

no one should EVER be forced to provide a service or function against their will for any reason.
I always see people say this, but very few of them will profess support for repealing the provisions of the 1964 Civil Rights Act that do the same thing for racial discrimination in public accommodations.
Personally, I think the term "public accommodations" was defined too broadly.

I bet Willie's was more than ecstatic to have that woman tell her friends not to go to Willie's.
It's always funny to observe which groups of people have problems at businesses. It's always either a-hole hoodrats or the a-hole SJW whiteys that are always looking for confrontation.
Or trashy white women with this haircut

You highly underestimate the socioeconomic divides in the country
The majority of our residential infrastructure in this country is based on being separated from undesirables
