Here we go, taking things out of context. Should we stone a fat person? Obviously not! But was she given correction and a call to repent? Yes!

The church was commanded to encourage and correct one another, that is the very reason we gather. When churches hide behind a twisted ‘don’t judge,’ they aren’t being loving, they’re abandoning their biblical duty. All it does is keep people comfortable in sin instead of pushing them toward redemption.

Depression is definitely related to obesity & vice-versa.

It's 100% living in sin and on the same level as homosexuality as far as damnation goes.

Nothing worse than watching horribly obese parents stuffing their already overweight kid with junk food. Learning habits come at an early age and they are messing up their kids early growing years physically and emotionally in a bad way.

You do know a sin is a sin is a sin as far as God is concerned.

Obviously, there are different consequences for different actions from the world's perspective.

I have to say I find it hilarious when these fricks judge gay people for living in sin when they’ve disrespected their temple that God has given them far more.

I get that small churches have limited resources, but it’s worth asking why large churches don’t offer weight management programs alongside marriage counseling, addiction recovery, and youth support. Part of the problem is that many in the church don’t even see obesity as a sin, which is a failure of guidance, scriptural teaching, and church discipline. The church’s role is not only to correct its members but also to help them overcome temptation in a practical and loving way.

Having a Thyroid condition is not a sin. I hear some of yall shaming fat people, and I agree that it's a problem in society. However, some people who are obese cannot control their appetite because of a thyroid condition. If you disagree, then research it and learn.

Dishonest bullshite.

We all know that some people have glandular problems. It's just that for most people it's the salivary glands and not their fricking thyroid.

But when we look at old photos the percentage of obese people looks dramatically lower than today…Is there a massive increase in thyroid conditions?

I never have figured out how God makes all the imperfect people, knows what they are going to do before they do it, and then tosses them to Hell if they frick up bad enough, which falls on God for how he made them. It seems like he gets off on making imperfect people to damn to Hell.

Why doesn't God get bored?

I agree but a lot of people on here like to harp on gays and abortion but 99% of them are 40 lbs or more overweight. It's about the hipprocracy. Same people have also been divorced multiple times.

True thyroid conditions are very rare, though. Most obese people are that way due to to being impulsive, lazy, or low IQ.

Back when everything was free range, hormone/steroid, no processed foods, whole grains, no HFCS, no artificial flavors, no GMOs, real water, active lifestyles, natural wine…if we ate and lived like that, as God intended, we would all be healthier. Today, it isn’t reasonable to expect anyone to eat the way our ancestors did.

Why does this always get excused? Nobody is born fat they but go to any baptist church service and it's like a before and way before weight watchers commercial.

There's some old testament verses I'd like to talk to you about regarding eating pork and shellfish. Also, how many women have you stoned in line with your faith?
