Who gives a shite? Does my work badge say "Joe Smith PhD"?

Not sure about you, but I like knowing the qualifications of the person administering my care. There are several levels of nursing, so the differentiation is necessary.

Another Pecker hates teachers thread.

Would you rather teachers just turn to selling Amway or going to training courses for much Do about nothing?

Don't have sex with your students problem solved. The fact you had to have a meeting about that is more indicative of you and your teacher brethren than anyone else.

Every parish I've worked in can easily replace a teacher, in fact, it has happened multiple times with a teacher being considered ineffective or not getting along with the administration. But hey believe what you want...

Teachers work long hours for low pay, grading papers at night and planning lessons on weekends. They’re faced with instructing large classrooms of kids who can smell fear, and the arguably more daunting task of dealing with their parents if things go wrong.

You chose it.

The workload is huge “I wake up every day at 5am and stay at work until 6.30pm, and then I have homework on top of that. I get around five or six hours of sleep a night.” – Jessica Garman, an elementary school teacher in Washington state

My wife wakes up between 4 and 5, works a couple hours at home, gets ready, and is working until 7 or later. We have dinner, drink some wine, then she works in bed until 11 or sometimes later. Granted she makes more, but suck it up. You chose it.

So you work less than most salaried positions and have 3 months off as well as weeks for other holidays.

Yeah. It sure as hell is tougher than combat.

Nobody, and I mean nobody bitches about their job more than teachers. And this is coming from somebody whose mother is a teacher, grandmother was a teacher and multiple aunts that are teachers.
