I don’t know if it’s bullshite but my ex father-in-law chewed beech nut from 1960s up until his death in 2023. And he said he never had a cavity.

Only tobacco causes the cancer?
Nicotine stimulates the adrenal glands, which increases heart rate and blood pressure. Not a direct carcinogen, but if quitting isn't an option, nicotine is the lesser of two evils. I'd bet money, however, that they are dousing it with kickers to enhance absorption and delivery, which could be carcinogens too.

I was up to a pouch of Red Man a day before I quit. It was a complete bitch and I haven't touched it in over 15 years, but I still get serious cravings.

Ehhh

Real dip is like 3 mg nicotine max for a lip and a cig is like 2-3 mg

Turns out blasting yourself with these high levels of nicotine isn’t great for your anxiety and whatnot

I started using 15mg pouches and it made me quit my desk job in Texas, move back to LA, and start working at a plant.

Just got a roll of the Velo Plus Citrus Chill 6mg. My regular is On! 4mg cinnamon or citrus

They are much bigger pouches and slightly damp. The flavor is different than on! citrus. More orangey with a slight cooling effect (chill). I cannot tell much difference in strength from the 4mg on! to a 6mg.

Prefer the smaller on! pouches. Feel more discreet in upper lip. For ref I tried 8mg for a few weeks and they were too strong to be used continually.

They say to stop dipping is harder to kick than crack. It was the hardest thing I ever got off of but dont need to do crack to compare.

Having a very small piece of your tongue cut out out made me quit in a day.

I dipped for a bit over 40 years. I tapered and then quit over about six months without a substitute product because it was absolutely destroying my gums.

I heart nicotine pouches. Grizzlys are my favorite so far. Go up to 15mg!

Nicotine is the ultimate drug. Brings you up when you’re down, brings you down when you’re too up. Quote I heard from a pulmonologist.

Like I said, I dipped for over 40 years. I’m about to turn 59, and I still have all of my teeth and haven’t had a cavity since I was 14.

Nicotine pouches are one of the better inventions of this century.

So of course lawmakers are trying to ban it/tax it out of existence.

You might be well served by ordering some snus from Sweden - I think I've seen 120mg pouches on there. There is some OTer that rocks those, can't remember who.

Smokeless tobacco has a shitload of instantly absorbed nicotine vs cigarettes. Like 40mg per dip vs 5mg for a Marlboro red
