I wear mine regardless of what is cool. I look completely different without my beard and I don’t like it.

Beards are often used as a replacement for a personality IMO.

I always hated shaving. As soon as facial hair became socially acceptable in white collar jobs I stopped shaving. I keep mine trimmed with clippers and a guard. Haven't shaved in probably 15 years. I've turned salt and pepper grey in recent years though.

I trim mine, and keep the neck clean. But I see no reason to ever shave the beard again.
