Yes there are signs up. The plan is to separate commercial vehicles from personal vehicles.
Texas doesn’t want evacuees from the hot zones coming into Texas causing an uptick in cases in Texas. Basically the same thing that happened during Katrina. Louisiana was irresponsible with taking care of its citizens and Texas was left cleaning up the trash.
What was done prevents the dumbass mayor of Houston from opening up the doors to other cities that are heavily affected.

Because the first turn-off is what 2 or 2 1/2 miles beyond the bridge. Way past the little picnic area. They don't have to set up on the bridge.

The LSP/Dept of Ag should stop all crawfish shipments from leaving Louisiana, especially those headed to Texas. They are all needed here to combat the Caronavirus.

I was actually crossing into LA so they didn't stop me but they had at least one car pulled over, and a trooper was talking with the driver and had a clipboard with something on it so I assume they are questioning where you're going and making you sign a statement of some kind.
