They can't be considering Friday night again after the cluserf*** they created last year with traffic. If they do, they should have a much better plan to address the traffic on Friday.

It's pretty much the biggest thing in Baton Rouge besides LSU football. Pretty sad.

Why is that Sad? wanna trade with Jackson, MS or Mobile, or Birmingham?

Nope. I like our football and big arse country shindig.

Last year was a damned good time as was seing ZBB the year before. I'm kinda poor so I have to sneak in pint of booze to supplement my $8 beers.

I did this last year with Friday night tickets. I had an okay return but nothing that I was expecting. I had Section A floor tickets pretty close to the stage and they went for $250 each. Stub Hub gets flooded with tickets for this so it drives the prices down significantly.

Dang, look at all the hate.

For New Orleans not getting with the times and putting real music artists like Georgia Florida Line, Brantly Shelton, and Garth Strait front and center stage?

Yeah, there's a lot to hate about that

How is this BCS's problem and not Baton Rouge's problem? If it rains on a random Tuesday, this place turns into a parking lot.

Three days is too long. I'll probably be picking the best two and going to those. I was happy to see George, but I was exhausted last year by day 2.5. Can't party three days straight like I used to.

Going to spend my other day at home, on my Freedom-won American soil doing American things with my American family in honor of those who died to give me such a right.

I don't care whose fault it is. It needs to be addressed. Whether it be BCS or Baton Rouge. It is a concerted effort by both parties to bring the event and a boatload of people here. There was nothing...I mean absolutely nothing being done to help with the traffic last year on Friday--even around LSU.

And is it a requirement now that every country music artist has to have a video with a beach theme?

Anything they get this year will not top George and Reba for true country fans. Garth is about as close as they can get. If they can't get him here, they should just go for a 2 day event.

If Bayou Country Super fest were able to get Garth, I would think he would be headlining multiple nights. He's playing multiple shows in every city he is stopping in for his world tour.
