Things should start to get even more interesting with Mayor Broome's CAO selection on Monday.

Chief Carl Dabadie should fire the two officers who repeatedly punched Sam Dorosan in the head. He didn’t fire the two officers last year who beat 16 year old Ja'Colby Davis, and one of those officers killed Alton Sterling.
Are we going to sit back and wait until we have another Alton Sterling, or will our police chief take a stand against bad policing? Click the link, share, and start the conversation.

On April 10th Sam Dorosan Jr. was arrested by Baton Rouge Police Officers. In video footage obtained by The Rouge Collection, Dorosan is being held on the ground by three Baton Rouge police officers. One of the officers raises up and strikes Dorosan in the head. Seconds later one of the other officers strikes Dorosan in the head 7 times.

Dorosan is currently in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison being held on charges of, Obstruction of Justice, possession of marijuana, resisting an officer, and violation of probation/parole.
quote:
According to The Advocate, “Dorosan, was stopped by officers Sunday night outside the AM Mart while they were conducting additional patrols in the area after a shooting, said Sgt. Don Coppola, a BRPD spokesman. Coppola said Dorosan began acting nervously and grabbing at his pockets. After investigating, police say Dorosan had marijuana in his pockets and he told officers he did not want to go back to jail so he resisted.”

I think they should fire all the police in BR. I don't live there anymore, I can watch the city burn.

Man BR is all kinds a fricked.
Shitty Infrastructure.

Not enough high paying jobs.

Literally the only thing good about BR is LSU.

Didn't you get the memo - resisting arrest is cultural. Its no different than punctuality or enunciation. Show your proper deference before making such an obvious slight.

resisting an officer
If these idiots like Gravy would get off of facebook and stop encouraging these idiots to resist an officer's demands we could cut about half of these bullshite stories out

Gravy, Gravy, Gravy...... Is this the best you can come up with? Speculation and race baiting with zero facts to back up your statements?

Why do you all keep giving this guy the attention he so clearly craves and thrives on?
Posted on 4/18/17 at 7:54 am to Will Cover
He's right, the entire BR Police should resign at once! The Mayor and Gravy can handle it from here!

He doesn't thrive on the attention he gets from here.

Correct. If all of a sudden we just stopped paying attention to him he would still thrive in his new environment of resent and everything black that he's created.
It's where he's comfortable.
We are simply playing watchdog.

Wait, so under what circumstance is it cool for the police to hold you down and hit you 7 times in the face?
Sounds like Gary has a point.

If you resist and fight against the police what do you honestly expect to happen?
