White people don’t get out and vote on these tax renewals but black folks load up their vehicles and bring people to vote for them. The turnout for tax elections is abysmal.

Now you've resorted to outright humiliating yourself. Everybody knows the latest statistics don't show that black violent gun crime is increasing in traditionally white areas of town.

I don’t know that “upset” is the right word, but I care because human suffering should be avoided when possible, as I’m not a sociopath? I’ll likely never meet any of the children or their families that benefit from it, but I still donate to Ronald McDonald House every month. I can “care” both about sick children and murder victims in north Baton Rouge in spite of neither having an impact on my day to day life. Or do you disagree?
