I still want someone to explain to me how we went from evil St. George putting Baton Rouge into deep debt, laying off city-parish employees, THRIVE being voted down, then magically Sid pulls massive police pay raises out of his arse? And now other city-parish departments are up next?

But why? If it doesn’t pertain to your day to day life, why does NBR hoodrat murder upset you?

I don’t know that “upset” is the right word, but I care because human suffering should be avoided when possible, as I’m not a sociopath? I’ll likely never meet any of the children or their families that benefit from it, but I still donate to Ronald McDonald House every month. I can “care” both about sick children and murder victims in north Baton Rouge in spite of neither having an impact on my day to day life. Or do you disagree?

LOL. You caught that too?

I think he's right about just about everything he has posted. I used to vote with posters like the ones defending the murderers, or deflecting from the violence they commit as not being a concern. It is baffling to me that people have that much nerve to tell someone what they are seeing isn't real, and if it is real, they are racist for pointing it out.

Do you not believe the tPOS murder problem of innocent people is not spreading south of Florida Boulevard?

I certainly think it happens on occasion, but I don’t see much evidence that it’s “spreading”, such that it’s getting markedly worse. As I said before, if it stops being an extreme outlier when it happens, then we can have a different conversation. I simply don’t think the sky is currently falling.

You haven’t, in fact. But I’ve already responded to each incident you cited to at length, so no need for me to repeat myself.

Not a single person in this thread believes this, but you can't be an ideologue and understand.

Wow. You're telling us you've read this entire thread and not a single poster has said I'm Chicken Little for saying that hood rat murderers spreading their violence into white areas of town is a growing concern?

At what point can we stop referring to them as the minority here in BR? Blacks are roughly 50% of the Baton rouge population, while whites are only 35% of the population.

I'm not a math genius or anything, but they are by no means the minority in Baton Rouge.

Nope. I'm not telling you that, but that isn't clear to you because of the second clause you chose not to quote back.

Now you’re just massively moving the goal posts. Had you said this was a “growing concern”, people may or may not have disagreed with you, but I doubt anyone would have had strong feelings about it. But that’s not what you did. You posted things like this: LINK

quote:

Tell that to the grown man who was father to that beautiful 17 year old slaughtered in a Baton Rouge mall food court. Apologists like you two disgusts me.

To which I replied this:
quote:

That's a downright Progressive-esque appeal to emotion, trying to make sure that "no good crisis goes to waste". Rational people are capable of simultaneously being heartbroken over what happened and yet not believe the sky is falling. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Which prompted you to say this:
quote:

You live in one of the murder capitals of the country and don't think the sky is falling? You call that rational? Damn dude, stop humiliating yourself.

I started calling you a chicken little because you, in fact, implicitly stated that the sky was fricking falling

If you want to walk back your histrionics, it would be more than welcome, and then we could all move on

I don't think he's capable of discussing anything in good faith. Every response contains some sort of debate fallacy, and if you don't bite, you're running away from the question.

Sure, as soon as you stop trivializing the recent Trader Joe's parking lot murder because it happened at 2 a.m., so it basically doesn't count as evidence of encroaching black violence. You do realize Ivars and Duvics stay open till 2, so one of the workers, or a late-night Acme oyster bar worker, could have been in the danger zone getting gas at the station?

ETA, you must be a criminal defense atty, right?

Saw my first bicyclist on there the other day. They were riding on the sidewalk and not in the new bike lane. Don’t blame them!

You’re making reference to two separate dualities that aren’t even close to being the same. The cesspool of NBR is a cancer that has metastasized all throughout the decent parts of BR.

Aramis Jackson who mercilessly shot to death the lady in Beauregard Town, and severely wounded her daughter running for the front door during a home invasion, robbery. An NBR tPOS was responsible.

How about the lady returning home from dinner with a friend in the Sherwood Forest area that was shot and killed by more NBR tPOS?

What about the insurance salesman who was found riddled with bullet holes who was slain by another productive member of society from NBR?

The list goes on and on. So yes, I do disagree with your statement, murder of innocent White people will continue to happen in BR at the hands of NBR hoodrats.

I'm not backing down from anything I said. You are taking a quote I said to another person and trying to attach it to your own narrative.

So much so that the examples you chose to post are from 7, 9, and even 16 years ago? This is exactly the point. You can simultaneously be concerned with the events that have taken place without catastrophizing the situation.
